Sadly I agree. If the seasons were shot closer together it would have been a better situation.

The first season is amazing. I still enjoy the rest of the series although the multi year gaps in filming isn’t helping things. Nine years to get to season five in a show that mainly stars school age actors is unfortunate.

Final season is scheduled for this year so the end is close.

Hoping all is well for him and his family. A major move like that in fairly short time is a lot to handle. I read a post not too long ago that his daughter has more friends and socialization going on in the brief time there than when in the US.

Be well Squid!

We may both have truth to our posts. I’m no expert in, well anything, so I can’t comment further on the possibility of buck being a negative word for some. Your post is the first I’ve heard pointing it towards slaves. That doesn’t make it untrue.

One thing that’s clear is the history taught has been shown to be not so accurate at times. Crediting the wrong person for inventions, one sided views on topics, etc.

Thanks for the note about Snopes. It’s a shame things like that happen.

I think you’re reaching on that one. Buck is a term used for a male animal. For example, calling a kid “young buck” isn’t to do with anything racial or to do with slaves. It simply means young man.

Buck naked is just saying your as naked as a wild animal. Buck wild is to say someone is acting free and crazy like a wild animal, similar to “wilding out”.

I’m sure writers will be going full immersion to pour over all of the scenarios a coffee bit could percolate.

He may not be joking. My family and people I interact with don’t think vaccinations cause autism. I’m happy to have never experienced or known of anyone getting measles, polio or other ailments most everyone my age have been protected from thanks to vaccines.

Sadly some here believe the lies spread by those who for some bizarre reason are against vaccines. There’s a measles outbreak right now in Texas and New Mexico that’s affecting around 99 people so far. Last year across the US there were 285 cases. Before the fairly recent anti-vaccination crowd formed measles were officially eradicated in 2000.

Now our country’s health leader, RFK (aka worm brain), is one of the assholes against vaccinations. Sad time for sure but we’re not all like this.

I’d show up all proud of it. Whatever you drink is either extremely potent or the chalice is enchanted to hold more than it appears.

Either way just sip slowly.

An abuser blaming the victim. Very pathetic and unoriginal.
