He probably thinks his AI is a god because it knows how many Bs are in blueberry.

Yup, and Linux probably boots faster.

Someone once wrote something that compiled the Linux kernel on bootup with TinyC. Even this would be faster.

Discouraging users from reporting content could potentially be against the Apple App Store guide. I don’t understand why Reddit is doing that.

They announced that they are investigating Democrats regarding Epstein.

An investigation can prevent the release of the Epstein files, regardless of whether the president signed the bill or not.

I suspect the majority (not all!) of potential Mac Pro users want it for the form factor. Not because of specific requirements in performance or hardware, but because it looks professional.

A Mac Mini or Mac Studio could handle everything they can throw at it, but for some people, they look like toys. (Cue to the “THIS is a computer!” scene of “Iron Sky.”)

I don't think O.J. Simpson's lawyer's family was ever poor.

I need to create an Apple account since yesterday. At first I got the error message "Your account cannot be created at this time." right away. So I waited until the Cloudflare outage was over.

After that, I could submit the request, received codes via email and text message. But when I enter the code from the text message, the error message "Your account cannot be created at this time." appears again.

The service "Apple Account" is marked green on Apple's status page. The email address and phone number are working, as they both received the codes.

I reported a post and was then reported by mods for “report abuse”. There’s no explanation what this even is. An admin said “when you know, you know”is the whole definition. So I received a few days suspension. But the mods removed the post. Appeal was ignored.

Now mods and admins are gaslighting everyone into thinking that there’s no problem. Despite there being complaints by multiple people (including some mods) for years now.

From the community description:

Welcome to Lemmy Shitpost. Here you can shitpost to your hearts content.

Anything and everything goes. Memes, Jokes, Vents and Banter.

In Germany they want to lower the taxes for restaurants. One of the big winners will be McDonald's. 🙁

In Germany we realized that chancellor is a job for a woman. Angela Merkel wasn't perfect and made many mistakes, but the following two guys were even worse.

I just realized that “another operating system” can mean so many things that aren't Windows.

We need to be patient and wait until some crazy people defile their Steam Machine for Internet points.

So many people are affected by suspensions (even permanent) for reporting posts. The admins are gaslighting users who bring this to their attention.

I gathered a short list of examples of people talking about this topic.

I just had to vent. I'm serious, don't react to these posts on Reddit. No, this isn't one of these "I tell you not to do something in the hope you are doing something" cases.

I found an answer on the Steam Machine page: Yes, Steam Machine is optimized for gaming, but it's still your PC. Install your own apps, or even another operating system. Who are we to tell you how to use your computer?
