Brexit was the best experiment for that. They kick immigrants out so all jobs went to the local population. People didn't want them, produce was left in the fields, deliveries were not made, tables were not waited on and some companies folded. Anyway, immigration is now back and higher than it used to be, but from other countries.

A bit searching confirms this. Turns out brewing beer was considered women's work originally, something done between taking care of the kids and making dinner.
Women were in general accused of being a witch because they did most of the child care, sick care and other jobs concerning people. If somebody died, and lots of people died of disease, bad hygiene and so on, they sometime blamed the nanny or nurse and called her a witch that cursed them. Men usually worked with inanimate things or animals where chances of being called a witch were much lower.
I just say it'll be done by Wednesday and next time act like a professional and give some time.
Some other guy I know will get it done, book a crazy amount of overtime, mail the thing and stay home from that overtime until Thursday.
And one other guy would just call the manager at weird hours the entire weekend asking for classifications.
I know some anarchistic people, okay.
