Indeed, I think a lot of them are realising that if they go a lot of their fans will follow them so they're more open to the idea compared to before when maybe it wasn't as guaranteed.
There's always advantages to being indie or corporate, but having that fanbase follow you going back to indie eliminates a lot of the biggest disadvantages of being indie so I'm not suprised that so many corporate vtubers are leaving.

And so ends season 3, and whilst there's still a little bit of arc 5 left for the start of season 4, what a scene to end on.
I really liked the effect of the names being eaten where they shattered and then reversed that, was pretty cool. And wow, I did not expect Rui to look like that, not sure if I'm forgetting from the novels if she originally appeared different or not but either way we got her normal look after that.
Little sad that some scenes weren't adapted, I hope they'll be in season 4 but not sure if some will have the same impact like Subaru and Wilhelm's conversation but will have to wait and see, I'm just glad that for once we finish a season and know that there will be another without having to wait 4 years!
Overall, season 3 was great. Mentioned it a few times in my comments but the animation is just a huge step up from season 2. My biggest issue with arc 5 overall is just the lack of deaths from Subaru, him figuring out how to get out of these situations is one of my favourite parts of Re:Zero so only having 3 at the start is a little dissapointing but that's no fault of the anime, they did manage to keep the story exciting with the adaptation so can't complain too much.
If I had to give a highlight it would just have to be Capella. Her VA did an amazing job and the animation for her was clearly given special treatment, it was so good to see.
Hopefully season 4 isn't too far away and we'll get to experience arc 6 aka peak Re:Zero ;)
Phew, after no appearance at AnimeJapan I was worried we'd be waiting a while for this. Now I can watch the final S3 episode knowing there is more to come :)
Capella really just steals the show whenever she's on. Her VA has absolutely killed in this season, I can't wait for her next appearance. Some subltle hints of Al's ability in the fight, wonder how many anime onlies will pick up on it.
Roy really got Julius fired up, maybe I just don't remember but did he really get react like that in the WN/LN? I like it either way, shows how the "greatest knight" isn't perfect.
And it was pretty funny that nobody even knew Otto's name, I remember him asking them not to say it but I forgot that detail.
Well, this could be the last episode knowing there will be more Re:Zero to come, hopefully AnimeJapan will come with a season 4 announcement instead of waiting 4 years again!
Have been waiting for this episode ever since I read the WN chapter and now it's finally here. Not gonna lie, the expected tears did show themselves.
Just wow, Wilhelm is my fav character in the series and this was just heartbreaking, I can't put it into words how good this episode was. The music, the clean animation and the voice acting. I'm so glad season 3 has way better production than season 2.
Itcan'tbeitcan'tbeitcan't be. They cut so much of the Regulus rant aaaaahhh. Oh well, I never expected them to do the full thing and what we got was still good.
Really liked the moment of the wives all admitting they hated him, that was good too. But my favourite part had to be Emilia beating up Regulus, all her noises were so cute.

At first I was thinking maybe Subaru had taken over Petra but instead she's just got him in her head, I wonder what memories that Subaru has, is it based on the arc 4 death the book was for or will it be current Subaru.
Much prefered arc 5's LN over the WN mainly due to less Liliana and that's definitely translated into the anime well but I actually liked her character in this episode more than I expected to.
Damn Al dragon is thinking Felt is Farsale or I guess at least related to him so he's kinda having to obey her too. Interesting.
And so Al is going to drop Subaru and Beatrice into a deep hole that connects to nothing in Kararagi "So that I may be myself" I wonder what that means. Is he trying to take Subaru's place or something I wonder
