Huh, can I have some clarification on this, guess I'm out of the loop.

Hey everyone, I am currently tly running openSUSE tumbleweed on my daily driver and I am looking to use ProtonVPN on it. I installed the ProtonVPN GUI from the repos but it's really slow and does not seem to actually work.

I did find I can manually configure it with wireguard but I would prefer a GUI.

Any advice?

That's a great way to not get people interested in the Fediverse.

That's a fair point, I also didn't take a look a deep look at the code of conduct or there de-federation list. I do know that lemm.ee has a strong sense of not de-federating from other instances.

I think the idea to move away from .ml is a fantastic idea, but going to dbzer0 might be swinging too far the other way, I may be wrong on this point but they seem to have a love of anarchy. I propose moving to an instance that does not bring forth a massive ideology push, in this case I think lemm.ee is good place to restart this community, but that is just my two cents.

Hmmm, I guess, besides the the proton ceo's statements, how does that compare to proton VPN?

Fair enough, that's on me for not thinking it all the way through.

On the flipside why is mullavad as trusted as it is now?

Why does everyone just say use Mullvad now, I always got taught if they are advertising, you should not use them, has this stance changed?

Ohhh, nice, didn't even think about sending it to those communities, I'll make a post over there now!

Podverse, it still has some hiccups but it is solid and works well.

Good Morning everyone!

I am currently running fedora kinotie 41 and am trying to figure out how to install protonVPN on it, I would prefer the GUI version but that is just me. I can't seem to find any guides or anything online and I would appreciate any help!

Thanks!

I doubt he's thinking about the shareholders, I'm sure his thinking is more immediate, like keeping his job.

Same with back to the future, 1 was amazing, 3 is amazing, 2 was awful.

I know this is a Linux magazine but I can't really find a lot of resources on this.

I installed fedora kinite on a second hard drive, intending to dual boot with windows, after the install finished it looks like it removed my windows boot loader.

Has anyone run into this and if so how did you correct it?

Howdy Everyone!

As I am setting up my infrastructure at home using docker I wanted to ask, is it better to have DNS, something like pi-hole, on my main docker swarm or would it be better to have it on a dedicated machine/docker host separate from the rest of my infrastructure?

Thanks for the input!

I have a spare 3070 GPU, as well as 16GB of Memory and my friend has a spare PSU, this part list has everything else I would need+everything I already have. Is there anything I should tweak or modify or will this build work, I plan to use it as a headless server.

Thanks for the feedback!

Update:

Use case, I currently run a docker swarm cluster with two older Optiplexes and a raspberry Pi, like I said before, I have a spare PSU, GPU and Memory and would rather put it to work then sell it. I would like to add this new PC to my cluster and utilize it for my home services and also learning. The only items I would really be buying is the case, cpu and board. I would like to run some local AI models on this PC as well.
