Even if this was a successful model (which it is not as pointed out by another commenter), where will all the needed staff come from? We already have a shortage of nurses, psychiatrist, psychologists… and who is going to fund it all?

During the primaries in 2016 Wassermann-Schultz literally said that they don’t want a grassroots candidate. They were always set on Clinton no matter what, and they caiboshed Bernie wherever they could. I wonder how many votes he lost because of it. I guess we’ll never know.

The DNC didn’t want a progressive or “grassroots“ candidate. No matter how many people voted for Bernie in the primaries. The DNC was set on Clinton and Biden.

They already could have had a progressive candidate in 2016. They chose otherwise.
