I have a terrible memory for numbers so:

cross-posted from: https://feddit.uk/post/28491959

I've been after a copy for years and finally found this on EBay at an acceptable price. It's in used condition (most of the counters have been punched out but look to be all there) but the board is in perfect condition and so pretty. I might have to have it framed and put on the wall.

With this and The Gods of Fire and Sky book, that's my birthday presents from the kids sorted!

Wonder what my wife will get me!

I know, right? Fortunately, with asparagus, fat spears can be more tender and delicious than what seem like younger, thinner shoots. This was delicious.

He was a wise, old Irish man who lived in a bog in the 7th century, but people kept getting lost so he left the bog and founded a monastery. He also miraculously turned water into beer. I forget whose turn it is to make the joke about turning beer into water, but hopefully someone else remembers.

Pan fried mackerel fillets, baby new potatoes, and the fattest asparagus I’ve ever seen.

Lemon/paprika dressing not pictured.
