Yeah, you're probably right. But a lot of trust will still be gone, it's hard to make serious commitments with a country that has a history of ripping them up.

I'm sure you're right, migration here won't make much of a dent in reddit's numbers. It'd be great to have more people to fill out some of the smaller communities but we don't need the ones who don't want to move.

Yeah, agreed. No guarantees that they'll pay a wage you can survive on though, or that they won't cut corners on worker safety etc. There were lots of jobs during the industrial revolution but most were profoundly shit to the point they'd shorten workers' lives.
