Going off the ancient alien theory, if real, my belief is that we haven't been visited again because they haven't made it home yet to tell anyone about us 😂

But on our planet we find life everywhere with even the most harshest of climates still teeming with life. I'd say we will (if we haven't already) found alien life in microbial organism form.

Yes it works but I will say that any "diet" works in that the individual is conscientiously making good changes to their diet, exercise, or both.
The other thing to note is that, even if you fast for 16hrs, if you go and binge eat crap and still exceed a caloric intake, you won't really see results.
One of the great things with fasting is it gives you time to reflect on what you're going to eat and hopefully takes away time so you don't end up snacking all your gains (losses) away.

See at least you have a seemingly potential reason. Also, I think if that's what the cause is, you might have luck with taking prebiotics and probiotics to help garner it back.
