Word of mouth works for someone with an already established customer base but I can't even imagine how I could have gotten my business going when I started a year ago without ads. That's how 99% of my customers found out about me. This is physical flyers though - I don't do online advertising except for maintaining a some kind of social media presence for my business.

Literally every single time this far it has but the people who don't even invest are saying this time might be different.

My 60 year old dad who started investing 3 months ago is buying Rheinmetall stock. I'd say that when people like him are already buying them you're already way too late.

This dip isn't even because of some fundamental issues on the market. It's just the reaction of scared individuals to what a single person says. When that same person the next month says something else the opposite can happen.

7% average annual growth includes dozens of market crashes and two world wars. This is not new, unique or surprising situation in any shape or form. I bet it wont take even a year untill we're back at all time high.

Nothing because I haven't sold anything and aren't planning to either. I hold and keep buying more. Just like I did thru the previous dips.

There are few different sizes of tubes which I'd like to be able to switch around depending on which tools I'm going to be carrying.

I hadn't thought about this. It could work on the final design but the main issue with this is the lack of modularity. I also suspect that the width of the groove left by a hole-saw is probably narrower than the wall thickness of the PVC Pipe.

Though, now this made me think of finding a hole-saw where the cut-out piece would fit snuggly inside the pipe and I could then screw it to the base thru that.

Not what they said and you know it.

I don't really see how you're "better off" unless you then go and buy the dip too. If your retirement is decades ahead then simply holding and buying is what will very likely be the best bet on a long term. Historically speaking so far this has been the case. Reacting to short term events is how people lose their savings on the stock market.
