Be offended should be your problem. Btw in islam , the atheism it is considered one of the worst sin. If you are atheist and your company don't want to offend muslims , you should be fired based on your reasoning. You are advocating about discrimination, so you have no problem if it is used against you. Your ideas, your consequences.
Make a joke with consequences ( stemming from been fired to stoned, it depends from culture ) is never a problem. You are tolerant like a taliban, only less violent. ( and i respect talibans ). The funny thing is that you think that people thinking different from you is dumb, so strange from a culture based on antiracism.
Not everything... as you said, if i work in usa and i make a joke about a taboo topic, i will be fired. I can even make a joke about the coran in afghanistan and i will finish stoned , so... making a joke with consequences is never a problem.
No problem, i have discussed about religion and morale with most of known religion and i understand that some topics are taboo. No problem, every religion/ideology have these.
I have made no jokes and i'm surprised to not been banned. I'm not angry and i doesn't care at all about your beliefs that i found quite strange. So, from an external point of view, i try to understand the self consciousness of your religion.
