This comment here is peak Linux, and a perfect example of that xkcd comic.
99% of people probably couldn't even tell you what a syntax is. Let alone how it's relevant to using Linux

I THOUGHT THAT WAS mf doom FOR A SECOND, HAHA
And then they will blame it on Trudeau and they will believe it.
Cons : we want lower taxes.
Libs: ok tax break?
Cons: not like that! 😡
Federal not provincial.
Obviously this is a vote bribe, just looking at the wording of the press release it's written for Christian conservatives.
Specifically making Christmas trees part of the tax break?
As someone who is voting left already, I'm just happy to get the tax break. But if this is the thing that causes enough cons to not vote PP, I'll take the budget cuts.
Under the libs at least we might see things like healthcare and affordable housing.
Hey, that's pretty neat!
Yes this is all happening. We have an election coming up too and it's looking like it might be what a majority of albertans want.
If you get charged for trespassing at night you didn't just walk onto private property, it's probably going along with some of the other charges like voyeurism or sexual assault.
Change my mind, if you fall under any of these charges you shouldn't get to legally change your name.
Go by a different name, sure whatever. But yeah your driver license gets to say your dead name. You fucked up.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe trespassing at night is being thrown around left right and center. But I doubt it.
Legitimately, how do you? Without prior knowledge of the direction you are facing and the sun is right above you or you can't see it.
Cardinal directions have always been hard for me and I'm only now just starting to use them out of job necessity.
Left and right takes a second most of the time, ask me to look north and it's going to be a long while.
If I'm somewhere new or lost like op, it's just cruel to say "go west"
Right, so how about $12.50 for $25gb?
Is there actually a sizeable population that needs 100gb? Maybe there is a small use case, but I have yet to meet one of these people.
Does lemmy have useless red circle sub yet?
New to the Linux community here; why is a valve owned Linux OS better than any other massive company OS. Like if Microsoft released their own Linux OS, would it be good suddenly?
At the end of the day, we don't want our OS's big company owned right?
