Hey, I really like your art. It's always a pleasure to see it! ♥️

Absolutely. I always choose the slut and/or ragamuffin options when I face a decision.

Man, if they really wanted to produce some worldwide goodwill, they would build their own production for power and water and make sure there was an excess. Outside of the obvious environmental concerns, the extra jobs, power, and water would be just a huge net benefit for everyone involved. It is such an easy win for public goodwill, but you know, they won't because it costs more.

My kitten lived and thrived (sorta, she had a hole in her head) in the garbage. Now she's a fully pampered adult with fancy food and she still yearns for the garbage. Such is life.

It's worth looking into how much data modern US cars are gathering as well, if you're concerned with that. Frankly, it seems like you're just deciding who gets your data at a certain point.

That would be the death knell for Discord and a good thing overall, I think.

God, and the app actually sucks such a bag of dicks. I use it as infrequently as I possibly can because it actively fights me trying to get what I need from it.

Is it cake? I thought it was cheese?

I think I would argue it's just education in general, but literacy is such an easy measure to draw that from. The reason I would make it a broader statement like education is because things like LLMs and brainrot short-form content destroy critical thinking and attention spans as well, which I would also argue would be key for any revolution.

It literally wasn't an issue. Judgement aside for liking posts by a 'barely legal' repost bot, nothing illegal or terrible happened. It's pretty clear he just got upset that this person's bot drew attention to his likes and his overreaction and subsequent ban was the issue.

And now, some people are catching bans for making jokes about how it was an overreaction (as far as I can tell). It's simultaneously very funny and also very sad.

Tell me why this gives "His pronouns are they/them!" energy. 😭

I actually did this for a while. I bought a sailboat with a friend, moved onto said sailboat, and bummed around for a bit. It's cheap in bursts, but then you need things. What happens when you have a sudden need for money, like an engine breakdown or a medical emergency? What happens when you suddenly need to travel, like for a funeral or a friend's wedding?

What happens when one day you need to afford anything beyond the daily living expenditures and you need to get a job and now employees side eye you for having a year or two gap on your resume? This is possible, obviously, but it's definitely a lot more than it sounds like on the surface.

I feel the final panel with my whole soul

Some context: my friend has an absolute monster of a machine at his place. He went from 'I have an old computer for plex' to like... a giant rack that we all had to make a special trip for to move as a group when he moved into his new place over like 10 years.

It always seemed kinda cool that he had this setup but kind of, I don't know, overkill?

Anyway, I got to talking with him recently about how annoying it was to move books from my storage drive to my reader and he offered to set up a server for me to use. So I spent an afternoon setting up a book download-to-hosted pipeline, and then I realized my manga doesn't really play well with Calibre-Web, so I added a Komga container. But then I wanted something to sort them so I could just dump all the files in the same place and just have them sent to where they needed to be, but I wanted to make sure that it could handle audiobooks, and video too, because Jellyfin sounds kinda cool and it would be nice to have an organized Anime archive somewhere.

I guess I just mean that I understand it now. My friend is being super generous at the moment, but he's already sending me links for some starter hardware that I can build out once I can set aside a little more money for it. I'm so pumped to see what else is out there.

So uh... what are y'all's setups like? :3
