It did help very much that the biggest part of my sociale life was outside the church. In fact i was slowly drifting away

For most life as a child evolves around basic needs so they are unaware of complex probleem like politics, sociale conflict etc. A pretty simple life so to speak. The classical romans had the same complaints

The argument in respons has 2 elements. I think its quiet possible that the mandatory detox/rehab had more impact on user-numbers than the deathpenalty
