Honestly I stopped using the OS because of the ads, it was such a ballsy move to keep spamming me with "use one drive" "try edge" "look at alllll theses aaaappppsssz that yoouuuu can pay for" or even "activate windows" my OS is my home not your billboard ffs

That command terminal thing is so real. When it works, its magic. When it doesn't work, you just messed with forces you didn't understand and are already forced into chancing a repair and maybe make the problem worst or getting back to the original one! (Very discouraging if you are just trying to get work done, especially for non techies)

I think the problem with linux users is that they can't imagine that the appeal for most people who want to use an OS is to make something happen in the "real world" with a top level piece of software, like you want to draw a cute cat on the screen not learn how the compositor draws the pixels to multiple different screen resolutions WHEN the monitor model is a use case supported scenario.

The objective is to use the computer as a tool NOW for a SPECIFIC thing without diving into the inner guts of the machine for some people, and that's honestly fine.

You can't reason with people who don't have the same definitions as you do because reasoning takes a common body of knowledge.

And people who are the propagandized have an instinctual dislike towards people not sharing their same corpus of knowledge: you have to use their own language or chip away the wrong definitions/axioms one by one until the new sets become reliable enough to start building something worthwhile.

Note that this works the inverse way too, which is why we are in such a mess all around the world.

Lif iz hard wif stoopid ppl

Yeah he was the shit, guy commented on EVERYTHING.

Guess he believed in this place of slop and debauchery. I like to believe that someday his silky wet squid fingers will grace us once again.

Train world models, which should be able to train behavior models for robots. Then the rich wont need us poor ppl to shovel coal and clean houses.

I know I know, it's dumb, cuz they will get the shittiest robots even if they succeed, but that's enough for them.

Really shows how deeply they dislike the rest of humanity despite being literally the worst.

Should I?

Recently I realized that I have only been reacting to life, and not setting some personal goals. I am very poor, however, could acquire in a few years some capital to invest into a proper home of my choosing. I am not really looking forward to the long years of work ahead of me, I will admit.

This is where the donkey comes in.

I have heard that these creatures lived almost human lifespans, and still being quite young, thought about acquiring such beast.

Does anyone have experience working with such animals? I only have experienced going on a trek with a couple of them, and they seemed to be a very personality distinct specie.

Would it be lonely without me? I am planning upon getting it when I manage to escape the city and acquire a river accessible abandoned property somewhere. It would max be left alone 3 days as a shopping trip or when gone fishing.

To me, they are amazing beings. Their faces are so expressive, and make hilarious sounds. They eat almost anything that nature provides around them. They bound to other animals and protect them all while still having a good time. I plan on making a foyer for it when it's raining, so it can chill by the fire.

Also do they actually perform farm labor, last one told me that it was a human myth.
