Your moderates gave us more Privatized Prisons than ever before. They looked at Reagan's legacy and decided that the problem was there wasn't enough profit being generated at the expense of the inmates, nor were there enough inmates.
Devilled Eggs are worse in that regard, so ... what's your point?

I like Devilled Eggs well enough myself. I prefer regular Hard-boiled though, and I stand by what I said about "Nutella Eggs".
I have seen them offered as a salad add-on in a ridiculous number of settings. So much so, that I was surprised to see Mandarins in their skins in the grocery store, and even more surprised to find I actually liked them, so long as they're fresh.
Honestly, I'm more concerned with the wasted yolks. Devilled Eggs probably taste a bit worse, but at least the yolk gets used in those, iirc
