Orrrrrr, hear me out, just click once and get an online account because you don't care.

And yes, the command line is an issue to most regular users. My parents don't grasp the concept of keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting. I get a phone call every time they try to attach a file to an email, where they say the steps when they are doing it so they don't fuck it up. If you use the computer to access a single webpage that's bookmarked, youtube and ebay, maybe an hour every week at most, expecting them to have to learn a new system and a command line isn't feasible. People like icons and clicking. If you managed to get rid of a keyboard and maintain functionality, they'd switch in a heartbeat. That's why smartphones are so popular. That's why kids preffer touchscreen over controller, and are basically unable to play keyboard and mouse anymore.

I mean, you can do a lot of stuff without relying on technology, like doing the dishes in the sink or washing clothes in a river. This is just another step. But setting up a kettle to boil at a specific time isn't the only thing these smart homes can do.

He is peaceful but didn't forget how to be violent and can be violent when need be. Makes perfect sense to me.

I have had friends say years after things like "oh I'd screw your brains out the second you wagged your finger at me". Or "oh so men and women can't be just friends" when they were interested in me and I was into them. I do flirt and show interest, rarely have any response, yet years later, when we are just friends (or if she or I are in a relationship) I get confessions. Maddening.

Yes, because that's the joke. Your hand tingles because of your partner. Her fingers tingle because of you.

We found out recently that a brother of a colleague was murdered in Palestine. They were part of a convoy with Red Crescent, whose location was shared with the Israelis. At least 11 people were executed and burried, including him. All ambulances and trucks were destroyed.

Basic knowledge of history / how the war went would show you that it is "we sabotaged the bombs because we have a gun to our heads and cannot do more".

Because she slept with her fingers in her partner's vagina.

Does a nazi putting a gun to your head and telling you to work making ammunition makes you a nazi? Because that's what happened. Forced conscription happened. The world isn't black and white. Allies committed war crimes too. There were good people forced into bad situations too.
