Ukraine attacks Hungary which is a NATO member, and it triggers article 5.
NATO has to defend Hungary, and so invades Ukraine.
Ukraine immediately surrenders, relinquishing control to NATO.
NATO now has the obligation to defend the territory it controls from external threats.
Boom! NATO fights Russia out of Ukraine.
