He looks like he's about to ask me if I have games on my phone

I got one this morning!! Immediately clocked it as a scam lol. I didn't delete it but it disappeared from my inbox so I guess the account was closed
I feel like of all places to try and scam people lemmy is... Not a good choice? From what I've seen (and I haven't been around too long tbf) the community gravitates towards more tech-savvy and educated people, so unlikely to fall for scams like these. They'd have better luck on Facebook probably, just attach an AI-generated Jesus and they'd make mad cash lmao
"Could care less" really irks me lol. Like, if you just stop and think about it it makes no sense? If you could potentially care less about a topic that means you must care at least somewhat in the first place?
I got a wired wired XBox360 controller at GameStop 10 years ago for a really good price and it works wonders! I'm on Windows 8.1 and for most games it doesn't require any sort of configuration either, I just plug it in and it works right away
The real tragedy here is that with the OP deleted I doubt we'll get a follow-up. How am I meant to sleep without knowing if this man managed to go three days without shitting??
I totally forgot about Pokemon Shuffle! I remember being really into it for a while, but then hit a wall and it seemed like the only way forwards was to pay so I dropped it. I actually bought the full game for Pokemon Picross because I liked it so much lol
POKEMON RANGER WAS SO GOOD!! I 100%ed the second game multiple times because I loved it so much, the story and characters were so fun and I really appreciated the gameplay changes from Ranger 1 lol... Like I enjoyed the og Ranger a lot too! But boy it was unforgiving lmao
I actually really want to revisit Guardian Signs! At the time I played it (a few years after launch) I didn't enjoy it, I don't remember it super well but I remember finding the story lacklustre and the backtracking tedious. ;; But I was also at a time in my life where I just wasn't as interested in pokemon, I feel like I'd enjoy it if I replayed it now
Omg?? I'll have to check that out, thank you for the links!!
Mh, not sure how I feel about these. On one hand, as someone who mostly buys games secondhand, I appreciate they can be resold unlike actual digital releases. But what's going to happen in 15-20 years when Nintendo pulls the plug on the Switch servers and eShop? Won't these stop working? So at that point it's just a piece of plastic whereas physical cartridges would still let you play games. Feel free to correct me if I'm misunderstanding how they work!
For me the one I remember most was just being mega nauseous and dazed. I had a killer headache and tummyache combo and was also like... Kind of overly emotional lol? Definitely overshared and said thing I would have never said otherwise. But for better or worse I barely remember what I did! Walking home was also crazy, it felt like the world just kept spinning and putting one foot in front of the other was a whole ordeal.
It wasn't bad enough that emergency services had to get involved, though my brother did call once we were back at his flat just to be sure. They told him to make sure I stayed conscious and didn't fall asleep in a way where I could choke if I threw up and to call again if my breathing became too slow. And the next morning I had the worst hangover of my life. 0/10 do not recommend, miserable experience all around lol
Not sarcasm just a poor choice of words haha. You're right in that the internet wasn't safer, what I was trying to get across was that at least when there were sites for children they had a curated space where they wouldn't be exposed to anything inappropriate, whereas now they're on sites that don't cater to children (and nor should they!) where they're exposed to lots of things they shouldn't be exposed to
Huh I actually never considered that, thanks! I'll chuck it in the machine next time I wash my dog's harness
