I liked it. I thought Pattinson did an amazing job. The subtleness of his acting as the slightly different personalities was a master class.
I thought the final scene with Toni Collette was out of place and seemed to be added last minute? It was just a sudden tone shift and had some dialog to try and wrap things up...
But it wasn't bad enough to ruin an otherwise entertaining movie. I think the problem is that Mark Ruffalo's character should have come off as very comical and satirical, which would have played better 2 years ago. But now? It hit a little too "currently accurate" to be funny.
Air Traffic Controllers are not allowed to strike. PATCO controllers were terminated by Reagan in the 80s. Effectively ended the ability of Air Traffic Controllers striking.
