I know, It's just that the recent events have definitely put me on the doomer-side of thinking.

I know, I'm young and started working 2 years ago, I am getting my shit together. I also need to do it anyways if i want to rennounce to my us citizenship

I'm born and raised in Europe but my father is American (he moved here a long time ago sick of the US) and I inherited the citizenship. Every single day I feel more and more ashamed of it, but I the process to lose it is cumbersome and expensive. The US was never a bastion of goodwill, not at all... but I'd never imagined that this is the path the country is taking at such a horrendous speed
