I think what's your describing was called a "party line". My grandma had one of those, and when an incoming call was for her, the bell would ring two times. If it rang one time, it was for her neighbor.

He plays "Commander Adams". It's been a while since I've seen it, but as I recall it's a pretty decent sci-fi movie. And it's the only serious role that I think I've ever seen him in.

Most likely the tire is mounted backwards with regards to the rotation arrow.

I've seen a dealer's shop make the same mistake.
