At the very least, it'd buy us more time to educate the masses. But I'm not optimistic that this will work. Social media needs to die first for that and that's not likely to happen. Tossing some lies around via bots funded by Russia is so, so much easier than refuting said claims with facts. People have no interest in spending time and effort to do research. Plus the short format content being pushed everywhere completely destroys people's capability to focus on anything that take more than 20 seconds.

Banning the AfD will also make sure that the same people can't work together anymore. They'll have a very hard time building up something like this again. At least in the foreseeable future.

ADHD often also comes with the ability to seek and find solutions. It's just that someone else usually must execute these solutions. Many very productive people throughout history likely had/have ADHD.

Als ich in NL wohnte, war ich auf einer Ganztagsschule. Jeden Tag bis 16:30, außer Mittwochs. Da war schon um 12:15 Schluss. Wir haben halt in der Schule gearbeitet und gelernt. Nach der Schule konnten wir machen was wir wollten. Das war für mich als ADHS Kind mega gut. Kaum kam ich nach Deutschland und NICHTS hat funktioniert. Das Schulsystem hierzulande ist absoluter elitärer Müll.

Hab noch nie was von Apple besessen und zocken kann man mittlerweile auch auf Linux ganz gut. GrapheneOS gegen google und soziale Medien außer Lemmy nutze ich schon lange nicht mehr. Das geht schon klar ohne den Amis. Lediglich bei Filmen und Serien wird es schwierig.

Ich habe direkt nach dem Abitur eine Fachhochschule besucht und Maschinenbau studiert. Ich war übelst neidisch auf die Vielen, die schon eine Ausbildung hinter sich hatten. Bis heute (arbeite schon seit 13 Jahren als Ingenieur) fühle ich mich wie ein Hochstapler, wenn ich an irgendwas arbeite, was jemand nachher bauen muss. Ich weiß ich kann das und bin eigentlich auch gut darin, aber ich habe immer das Gefühl, wertvolle Praxiserfahrung verpasst zu haben.
