I'm not a big fan of giving the state the power of life and death but Life in prison is one presidential election away from a pardon at all times.

The opposition to his leadership is coming from all over the place.
It's something of a mistake to think of the show as being about science and exploration. It features those things, yes, but ultimately it's a show about Morals and Ethics.
Yes, but their grip on reality is slippery, their dedication to campism is frustrating, and their love of strict hierarchy isn't compatible with Leftist beliefs.
True that, I'd forgotten. Embarrassing considering how often I bring it up to my clueless fellow Americans. The regime in Tehran are shitheads but Iran is genuinely the aggrieved party in any conflict with the US.
As some other people have pointed out, Poland was briefly at war with the USSR during WW2 because the USSR made a deal with the Nazis to divide the country. Finland was allied with the Nazis for a time out of desperation; it's debated if they were considered an axis power. And groups from the Baltic countries, seized by the USSR in the chaos of the early war, fought guerilla campaigns against the Red Army well into the 50s (see the Forest Brothers) as well as insurgent groups from a few other eastern European countries like Poland.
The most likely scenario though is that the Poster is an American, is fundamentally ignorant of WW2 history (or any history) and has no clue what they're talking about.
The Leopards are eating face good tonight
don't let .ml hear you say that or the screeching sound they make will be ear splitting
The problem is how much power is put into the hands of one person, not how that one person is selected. Sure, it would be a slightly better if we had a slightly more fair way of selecting the president but it would be much better to break up the position into multiple positions. It would be much better to eliminate some of those powers altogether. It would be much better if it were more practical to hold those individuals responsible for the crimes they commit while in office. I'm not holding out hope that a popular vote will be a panacea cause occasionally awful people are the popular candidate and what then?
In a just word he would be hanged and in a fair world the execution would get botched
His job was always to be a fluffer for Trump
I would never call for violence but this is a great picture don't you think?
