Pretty sure that's just a normal jade plant.

Yeah? thank you! I went warmer than I have on previous attempts painting pomegranates. Thanks!

Pomegranates are so fun to paint, it's half the reason I buy them.

I'm a fan of this one, the whole piece is cohesive and the details are chunky and confident. The subtle shading throughout grounds the mushrooms.

The background works. Wet on wet backgrounds can do some really great bokeh-like effects.

The rose looks good too! Well done.

Ah, great info! Without cloud saves that kinda locks you into the deck... Thanks for the reply!

Interested in how the Steam Deck handles DF in terms of performance and controls. How's the experience and does the game feel hindered in any way compared to desktop?

I'm also interested in DFHack / mod performance and installation, I've not played with a Steam Deck at all but portable DF has piqued my interest.

Thx!

Love it, how's it compared to your markers?

Are you considering switching to watercolor? It certainly looks fantastic with your style.

I have so many memories of picking blackberries, the smell of the berries filling the warm air, finding that perfect berry that is just the right sweetness. Picking blackberries with friends is something I always look forward to.

High contrast around the eye(s) is usually great. Color selection is limited and so much better for it, I'm getting Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark kinda vibes from it and I'm really enjoying it. Kudos. Thanks for sharing.

Love it, dramatic and expressive. What's your process?

You think the DNC would let AOC anywhere near candidacy? They torpedoed Bernie. They seem quite content with their failing platform.

Alex O'Connor did an interesting video on this, he's got other videos exploring the shortcomings of LLM 's.

Feedback or questions are welcome.

I wanted to try the fuzz, it's fun, there's a lot of ways to tackle it.

Having fun, started as a study on eyes and turned into the rest of the face on accident. Bob-Ross'd it.

Lot of Daniel Smith and some Windsor & Newton, the red background specifically is just DS Pyrrol Scarlet - beautiful color. Brush is RosemaryCo, paper is Jacksons 4x6. Happy for feedback or questions <3

Pretty happy with most of this but there's some elements that I could improve.

Also- what's up with image upload, I had the hardest time getting this to upload, what's the trick here?

Xpost from artshare. Loose, 15 minute study on 4x6 paper. Colors are mostly Daniel Smith, Pthalo Blue is Windsor Newton. Brush was Rosemary Co #8 travel brush (great brush)

Have been struggling to motivate lately, and have not painted anything in a couple months, trying to get back into it.

Still working on loosening up.
