For me, its the weird close ups that make it weird. Removing that it would be slightly less weird and a kind of statement indicating that these crew members are very professional.

Yes that does make sense, thanks for that information!

Yo this is sick. Shane they appear to only have two designs only. Extremely interesting regardless

You kind of go over why CAD is good, but can you explain more, for laymen like myself?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 week ago

Yeah that's good added context that I didn't think about.

oh that's pretty cool, and sounds better than the link i provided, thanks!

cmon no link to hear it? here is one: https://youtu.be/12X-i9YHzmE?t=52 it honestly doesn't sound as cool as i expected or this person doesn't know how to play it. interesting information regardless

a 15 percent drop so quickly in something people habitually do is pretty impactful. The article itself indicates those 600k people represents an almost 17% drop from Canada.

Lol its the governor of California, he can literally only have some control over what happens within California, with a couple of exceptions. PR is probably the main thing he can do. That being said, his PR message is probably not the best. You're right though, Canadians not giving money to the US, red or purple states in particular, can only help encourage Trump voters change their minds.

yes. kind refreshing to see that it isn't just american influencers that make emotionally charged and shitty content.

TLDW: Foxhole allows the environment to change in ways other games don't (snow causing direct death, visibility problems, rain causing mud which slows units down etc. ), and also providing options for dealing with these environmental concerns, gives off a realistic war feeling. This in combination with the fact that foxhole allows and requires players to participate in all aspects of fighting a war (material extraction, weapon manufacturing, transport manufacturing, transportation, building of defenses, actual fighting), help provide a feeling of participating in a war that other milsims don't show.

Admittedly, I feel like this game doesn't satisfy what people are looking for in a milsim. Foxhole is a top down shooter, while most milsims are over the shoulder 3rd person or 1st person with a huge focus on tactics and execution. Foxhole seems to pull out a bit more, still allowing tactics planning and execution, but overal strategy and logistics are also added into the game.

If i want to refer to people with your condition, what would the best term to use? Dwarf?

What's the biggest issue you feel you deal with as a person with dwarfism? What do you think is the biggest upside that people are least aware of?

You mentioned you are not single,in a comment, in what ways was your dating experience unique because of your dwarfism? I appreciate your ama!

I'm playing with challenges so no special plants Spawn in any hidden gardens. If the door is hidden you know it is a hidden garden but I completely forgot if it was originally hidden. So is there a way to differentiate the two? I may have to look into the source code to even figure it out, if no one has an answer.

To expand on my title, I see the darkest dungeon announcer and megakill for sale in the marketplace. My understanding is they had to pay for those items directly in order to buy them, and leave the item bundled so as to sell them on the marketplace. Does that mean that people are buying some of these items in the hopes that they can resell them for more later? Or are they somehow able to rebundle items they purchased directly, to sell it for steam creds?

I'm trying to apply to this role: https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/lacity/jobs/4639070-0/programmer-analyst-1431-k-revised-8-28-24

Most of the information appears to be straight forward with applying except for the certification requirements, specifically:

SELECTIVE CERTIFICATION In accordance with Charter Section 1010(b) and Civil Service Rule 5.31, selective certification will be used for some positions that require certifications in one or more of the following areas. Only persons possessing the following at the time of filing may be considered for appointment to fill such positions.

  1. Certification as a Microsoft Certified Applications Developer, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer or Microsoft Certified Programmer. proceeds to list 22 other certifications

My confusion is, does that mean I need to have all of those certifications in order to even be considered for the role? Does that mean that my bachelor's degree and experience not help with these certifications? If I don't have any of these certificates, does that mean any organization offering certificates would satisfy their requirements?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

To clarify my question, if I apply 1 sticker to a hero, can I apply another and switch between them? Or does the old one get covered up? How do they interact with your profile? do they also get used up?

I’m doing interviews for companies that would involve API integrations. I’ve done a couple now where I was given some general API information (some intentionally unclear, some more clear) and I felt I didn’t do well. Mainly I was nervous, and felt very pressured just to understand how the different parts of the APIs interact with each other and should be interacted with. This is despite doing this for work and myself not feeling as nervous doing more common coding tests which I don’t do as much at work(thanks to doing examples on hackerrank, Leetcode helping me feel more comfortable).

So what are the resources I should leverage to practice API integrations? How should I go about practicing? Especially considering that I do need to perform in a certain way during interviews.

Having a unique issue where steam is not logging in for me. Its stuck on the logging pop up and stays like that. Is anybody else having this issue? I'm on Ubuntu, it was just working about 10 hours ago. I made and reverted a change thinking that's what caused it but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I had to run steam through terminal using the command: steam -tcp and got it to work.

I was a bit pessimistic about this being possible, but to see that we did this in the 1984 Olympics without any light rail is pretty amazing to hear.

I literally can't find anything. I have no idea where to look. On the dota client, I can only find stream from as recently as... TI3. I can't see any other competitions showing up. I don't see anything on youtube either that ALSO is a full match. NoobfromUA has matches, but they jump around.

So my question is, where do I find streams with commentary? The reason is because ideally they'll go into the reason players are making certain decisions.
