I got several "Nook Simple Touch" a few years ago and they've been able to read whatever I've thrown at them so far.
They're running on android 2.1!
I had to do some digging to find older versions of book apps that'd run on them, but this is the internet, the apks are out there.
Another option is if you have coax installed for tv/cable, and aren't using it, even just in the rooms you want to connect wires through, MoCA might work.
I agree that everyone should stop using windows 10 this year.

Sorry for the confusion, but STL files are usually manifold 3d renders, for printing. No subtitles here unfortunately. I'm not even aware of a paid service/site for subtitles, is that a thing?
