I think about this often, and for me its a hard thing to let somebody I love go. If there's a chance I'd keep holding on- come as often as I can, read and so on. Unless I was told explicitly that they wouldn't want that. But even then, people change their minds. Like in the article, some people in non verbal states can communicate that they are happy enough. Heart wrenching stuff.
