ETA: Kind of a brilliant move if he's looking to try for president again, tho. With a not insignificant number of MAGAts starting to question what Trump's doing, DeSantis is positioning himself well as an alternative that's just about as extreme, but ever so slightly less insane. To bad for him that I expect the MAGAt base will have shrunk noticably by the time the next presidential election rolls around. Trump's due to kick off this mortal coil, and that's gonna cause divisions in choosing who their next "savior" should be.

It's not hard - they're hateful, selfish assholes who should be the ones being deported. But only hateful assholes would do such a thing. Decent, empathetic people try to understand and help even those assholes, but they never truly appreciate it - even if they act like they do because they know it gets them what they want.
Ah, but they "took" it - presumably to their world where who knows if it'll grow? Of course, there's a 50/50 chance it could grow as big as a pumpkin...

That's the thing, tho - I could take them, and after a getting to know each other period they'd likely be fine with me. There's no real loyalty as long as they get what they want. Dogs might adapt, but if they see their original human love even after a year or more, they're dumping your ass for that person.
