Telemetry is usually non-identifiable (by law if your country follows GDPR).

This form if ID is also pretty circumstantial. That might fly for advertisers but in a court of law I have my doubts.

If you allow everything and all cookies most things are possible in theory. In practice most distros are secure enough and most users savvy enough to not accept everything blindly that it probably doesn't happen.

Aspie checking in, emotional control is important but that does not mean we have to suffer everything in silence. Part of emotional control is recognising when things become overwhelming and communicating that, ideally to find a solution that works for all.

Ironically, in your story you were the more emotionally regulated one. Your parents should have communicated their emotional stress (from making people wait) in a better manner.

Republicans and establishment dems are all bought by AIPAC but at least the dems are waking up to that and voting out establishment candidates. Republicans are never going to "wake up" and start fighting against the money because conservatism is inherently beholden to status and power.

GNOME visually reminds me of iPadOS (not good) and just hasn't been as intuitive as KDE. Both are usable, KDE just came easier to me.
