Late reply, these people are just complaining they were banned for being assholes and that this space doesn't let thinly veiled bigotry and gatekeeping slide like many places do. I don't think we need clearly defined rules for people to try and look for loopholes, there aren't any loopholes to not being an asshole and not being a bigot, you can either be a bigot or not be one. Introducing a list of rules just makes it easier for people to look for loopholes and claim that they were banned unfairly. Better to not give them any benefit.

These people can fuck off, how is it anyone else's business if someone else doesn't want to have sex with and isn't sexually attracted to other people? Like for real, other people's sex lives or lack there of is not any of your business. So this rhetoric that asexuality should be cured, or talking about them "finding the right person" shouldn't even be a thing.

@[email protected] You might want to deal with this on your end too, this doesn't seem like the kind of person we want in our communities on blahaj.zone.

For those who don't know what gender abolition is. Gender Abolition, also known as post-genderism is the belief that gender stereotypes are harmful and restrict people's ability to present the way they want that makes them feel happy. Gender abolitionists seek to eradicate gender stereotypes and restrictions associated with them to create a more free and accepting world.

For clarification, Gender abolitionists do not agree with TERFs or any similar rhetoric, anyone from those groups claiming to be "Gender Abolitionists" or "Gender Critical" are not real gender abolitionists and are appropriating the term. Real Gender abolitionists believe that people have the right to bodily autonomy and self-identification. That means in short, Gender abolitionists respect and stand up for trans rights.

If any of this sounds interesting to you I recommend checking out

Well considering this instance does block Hexbear, they probably don't want to leave it up to chance like that. Which is why I'm letting them know.

As of right now I have disengaged the community's lock and people are free and able to post here. On Federated servers this change may take a while to propagate, especially ones physically farther away from lemmy.blahaj.zone.

Please make sure to follow the rules of the community and lemmy.blahaj.zone when posting.

Static IPs you have to pay for them though if I'm not mistaken. They can get new ones but it would cost them.

Really hoping they do. This could go very badly if they switch to the new domain and all the servers who defederated them are now suddenly federated again.

It would be good if Lemmy had an option to do it by IP as well, though I guess one already can by using their server's firewall to block all traffic to that IP on the Lemmy server.

Ok I've added you, welcome to the team (I weirdly wasn't able to comment immediately after adding you).

Admin ping to bring awareness of this situation.

Their new domain is chapo.chat. We should probably block it now so they don't get a chance to use it to bypass defederation of their server by other instances.

After all they were defederated for good reason.

Oh yeah, that definitely makes sense.

[email protected] which was largely created as a backup of the subreddit by the same name is current name is looking for moderators.

In case anyone isn't familiar with what gender abolition is, here's a brief overview. Gender Abolition is the belief that gender roles and gender stereotypes are harmful to people's freedom of expression and must be eliminated to create a more free and accepting society. Gender abolition is sometimes referred to as post-genderism or gender anarchy. More info in the community sidebar.

If anyone would like to help moderate please leave a comment here. Currently we are prioritizing people with accounts on lemmy.blahaj.zone but we will accept moderators from other instances as well.

Old News, SDF admin resolved the problem and purged every one of his shithole communities.

Found this article on medium while scrolling through some comments in a post here. I recommend you go read the article, it's very insightful. It basically talks about how some cis people are likely Agender due to their lack of an internal sense of gender, or them not ever thinking about gender. I know that this isn't the only experience of being Agender. Agender experiences can be quite varied and different, and not all Agenders will relate to not experiencing or understanding gender, for some it's just a different feeling of gender, or a different type of feeling.

I do know that a lot of Agender people do though which is why I decided to post this here since I feel it could maybe help some people, or maybe just be an interesting article for people to read

Anyway what are your thoughts on this idea? If you have any thoughts or anything you'd like to add please share in the comments.
