I did the same thing. I'm happier, but I'm thinking of trying LibreWolf now.

All I wanted was a HUD for GPS. I'm sure they have it, but when I drove truck i couldn't find it.

I just set up a fresh install of Debian on a machine, and the first thing I did with Firefox was to disable all that AI bullcrap.

I throw away the seasoning packet as well. I use a couple smoked ham hocks as my seasoning.
