maybe some instances will want "New Comments" to be the default, like old forums
the inclination of people to never adjust default settings
yea lol so many people just will not change any settings on anything

for reference, this is what it looks like on Mastodon, the post to !announcements@lemmy.ml it gets the hashtag for announcements
https://mastodon.social/@dessalines@lemmy.ml/112576601493225058

it's not really part of the message text, it's separate
harder to get volunteers if it's not on git.
I'm not sure if this was your intention, but Git is not an appropriate abbreviation for GitHub. GitHub uses Git. It's kinda like PornHub -> porn, it's a hub for a thing.
The common abbreviation for GitHub is GH, but it's not a great unique abbreviation so the context needs to be clear.
Your comment is spot on though, I agree that's definitely a concern.
release order is the way this series hooked the world, that's the most likely way for it to hook your friends too
at this point I think we might need comments more than posts, there's lots of posts already but most of them are lacking comments
Definitely check out Zelda Minish Cap, I think it's up there with Link to the Past
ok yea this is cool, thanks
for anyone else reading, you get to it by clicking the "..." button in the bottom right corner. It doesn't mix the results very well, so I think it's best to sort by Top Today or Top 12 Hours to keep the list short
Only one client I've found has implemented it
Which client does multisubs?
That post complains about not being able to view/manage images hosted by your instance, but v0.19.4 already fixed that last week? So that kinda disproves them saying the Lemmy developers didn't want it to be possible. Also the post complains about the amount of storage used by caching images but that was also fixed/improved in v0.19.4
Their other complaint about not being able to view a list of users, there's an open issue for that, give it a thumbs up reaction if you think it should be prioritized (github lets you sort by them like upvotes) https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/2450
