I just love to watch his restorations.

I understand your thinking. OTOH, if you don't carry your own weight, you make someone else do it for you, and put them through the same hell you've been trying to escape. That's not fair, either.

If I were you, I would try to take some time off, travel the world on the cheap, and find my feet, maybe even make peace with myself.

Good luck!

I wonder whether Linux Mint will follow suit?

Mine is simple (inspired by Kali Linux, if that's even correct)
PS1='\[\033[0;32m\]┌──[\t] (\u@\h)-[\w]\n└─$ \[\033[0m\]'

Mastodon or Pixelfed come to mind.

You mean a "contact form?" They're everywhere.

Interesting: I live in Asia, and I can opt out too, so thanks!

Apart from the already mentioned uBlock etc, I like "Clippings", "Replace" and "Dark Background and Light Text"

"Don't buy cheap files." A lesson that I had to learn as well.

I am European (but currently living in Asia). I don't identify with my country of birth. However, I do feel connected to the Franco-Alemannic culture space that I grew up in. The languages, literature, arts and crafts, architecture, food, music etc. are way more important to me than the colour of my passport or the madhouse that is politics.

Sound quality?

Looks nice, though, yet despite all these wireless things, the number of cables that I have to take care of hasn't really decreased in the last 40 years.

Amongst other things, I always carry some zip ties. They weigh nothing, yet come in handy in so many ways.

I would say, the "Swiss fire" (where does that name come from?) will likely last longer and need less maintenance than the box fire, but I'have only ever built this type of fire out in the woods, not in a stove.

That is a nice table. However; $17,000 sounds like a lot for that little table.

Solange der Inhaltsstoff korrekt auf der Verpackung deklariert ist, gibt es dagegen ja nichts einzuwenden.

Yes, I tried to "wget -S" some of that stuff in the Linux console. Yikes!

Yes, personally I use DDG more than Google, but we are in our 70ies, so it would be hard to convince the wife (who has been a dev 40 years ago) to change her habits. I am already looking into SearXNG, though.

Not sure, how long Google is at it, it may just be new to me, but today the wife googled for something, and she couldn't get there as the response was "can not connect". "Fix the internet NOW!", was my order.

Analysing the link on Google's page, it displayed the link as https://www.example.com/, but it actually goes to https://googleadservices.com/?blabla, which is blocked by our DNS, therefore the error.

Displaying one link, but going to another is misleading, lying, tactics of phishers and scammers, IMO.

Is this new, or is it just me, who never clicks on the first result of a Google search?

The style of this cabinet is not my cup of tea. However, I'd never have the skills to do this, methinx.

Wow, what a difference from his previous video, where he was so chuffed about the R16 he bought.
