Ich denke es macht Sinn, wenn ihr das Thema auch in den nächsten Posts zu den Finanzen nochmal ansprecht. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass einige wechselwillig sind, aber das Thema dann im Alltag wieder untergeht :)

Merz, Our chancellor to be is a man who voted against punishing raping a spouse the same as raping a stranger (he didn't want a taking spouse to be punished). He is sexist, hates poor people and badmouthed the millions of people who went on the streets to demonstrate against an unlawful (!) change of immigration law he tried to enforce with far right AfD.
There's also a lovely story about him losing his notebook (analog, no laptop).
Story
A homeless person found it, saw how important that thing was with all that secret papers and politician names, adresses, ... And brought it to the police where he also left the address of a shelter where he could be reached in case Merz wanted to reach out. He kind of did by sending a signed copy of his new released book about how to improve oneself to finally stand on one's own feet.
People from his party (CDU and their Bavarian sister CSU) were trying to bring the same culture war to Germany that's currently going on in the US. They are dividing us, trying to copy MAGA. And it's so obvious but people fall for them.
So now they are working on setting up our next government with CDU and Merz as chancellor and SPD as their spineless sidekick. But at least the German version of crazy is still waaaay less bad than US government crazy. So we will survive but a lot of my friends with immigration background will suffer and need all the support we can provide...
Recently saw Circle Jerks on stage and Keith Morris was holding some kind of punk rock in the USA history lesson where he mentioned them as THE influence. He's of course not biased :D

At least not to reproduce. Afaik he once said that he prefers IVF because it allows the parents to have influence on some of the steps. His daughter recently claimed that Musk wants to decide over his offsprings sex through selective IVF.

Auf Anfrage des WDR wollte die Staatsanwaltschaft Wuppertal sich nicht zum laufenden Ermittlungsverfahren äußern, betonte aber, es sei immer nur davon die Rede gewesen, dass keine Anhaltspunkte für ein mögliches Motiv gefunden worden waren.
Ja klar, wenn ich ganz gezielt NICHT danach suche finde ich auch nichts. Verstörend, dass ich dem Reul mal zustimme: erst Mal ordentlich ermitteln und dann über vermeintliche Motive sprechen wäre sinnvoller.
Aber dann müsste man das rechte Auge ja doch Mal öffnen und sich mit der Realität rassistisch motivierter Gewalt- bzw Straftaten befassen. Wo kämen wir da hin?!

Same experience for us. We went to see the Descendants (who were awesome!) and they played before them. He was hard to understand and seemed quite confused from time to time. But he's nearly 70 now so... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
On the other hand, negative approach played before Circle Jerks and they definitely delivered.
