I think contrapoints on YouTube 100% convinced me there is nothing strange or weird about trans people. They are just people and the way society treats them is wrong and we need to change that.
Not to say I hated trans people before but I didn't know much about it and Natalie did a thorough job explaining in a way that was easy to understand.

This is the type of stuff we need. The battle is being fought in the media. It's time to for a performance that outshines the political garbage the right dishes out.
My guess would be you're already long fucked when that becomes the case. There may be obstacles and exceptions needed but I still wouldn't dismiss the idea.

I think there are enough qualified people to be president in the all of 350 million in the states and that it's OK if we disqualify people who've been convicted of a felony.
I think democracy would survive if not thrive.
Honestly, if we are going that far I say just do away with the president role all together. Democracies do fine with out this symbolic position.

How many times have they called migrants inherently bad for seeking asylum? How many times have the right painted all liberals as inherently bad? How many times have they claimed trump was appointed by God and have acted as though he is infallible. Projection.

How is it not evil to deport people without due process? How is it not evil to roll back protections for diversity, equity, and inclusion? How is it not evil to defend and support a convicted felon who attempted to overthrow the government then pardoned the worst offenders? Projection.
