As a casual player I've never found an MMO that interests me, so catering to a hardcore audience isn't a bad idea.

They've always felt like "single player games but you need help to defeat a bullet sponge every so often". I'm sure being a part of a guild makes these segments great but when you're a new player on your own they feel unapproachable.

I'd love to play a multiplayer game where players contribute to a developing story rather than repeat the same one everyone else has done. Obviously that's a ton of work so I'm not surprised it doesn't exist.

Wow of all the Deltarune discourse there is I didn't expect transgender Ralsei to be in this thread lol.

For a bonus fact about the game, there's a character whose identity has been deliberately hidden since the start and the fan base is rabidly debating on who they really are. One man's evidence is another's proof it can't be them, and anyone who disagrees is stupid.

It gets exhausting sometimes.

Ayy stumbled across another stuck in the fog!

I'm honestly surprised Bhvr has managed to keep up the good will for this long but I'm not complaining.

seems perfectly neutral

I'm pretty confident that making something free now cost money is a universally disliked thing.

we should refrain from these kind of comments until we cross that bridge

Respectfully, before a proposed change is enacted is the perfect time for comments pointing out its flaws or the issues that may arise. It's why it's a proposed change and not already in effect.

I can see the flood of social media posts now: "I was born in the UK but was denied free entry because I looked foreign"

Why is the government obsessed with trying to wrack up as much bad PR as possible at the moment?

Sigh.

The Pokémon Company is a joint venture between Nintendo, GameFreak and Creatures Inc. Control of TPC is what people mean when they say Nintendo/GameFreak "own" 30%.

The story behind the trio is an interesting read, and IIRC Creatures is like wholly owned by Nintendo anyway so they technically have majority control of TPC.

Maybe we'll get God Eater 4 now?

Surely TGA is big enough now that the organisers could reach out to the studios and ask them to rank the awards they were nominated for themselves.

I tried playing fallout 76 when it launched. I care about story or having fun with friends, and it failed on both fronts spectacularly.

It didn't offer any of the interactive story that I was expecting from (having watched) the previous entries because you were forced to play on a server, but it also didn't commit to co-op content because you might not have friends.

What a waste.

I'm sure someone can reskin fallout shelter to look like half life lol

A nat 20 is the best outcome that the character could manage in that situation, if they have no chance of succeeding then the DM should not be letting them roll. If the barbarian suggests mauling a delicate machine with their mace it's down to anyone else in the party (or the DM if they're so inclined) to remind them that actions have consequences.

Aww man, the memories of making a garden base for Botania outside my friend's Thaumcraft witch tower, across a river where your could see a Buildcraft quarry running next to someone's industrial complex... Good times!

Tried playing Cobblemon with the idea to make our own themed towns but just like you there doesn't seem to be time for it anymore :(
