Hi! I think I found some games that might be what you're looking for!

Check these out!

  • Die for a Dolphin: This one's a super simple survival game where you're stuck in the cold. Sounds kinda like what you described?
  • Cold: Another survival game where you have to manage your temp, hunger, and thirst. Pretty harsh environment, just like you said!
  • Survive the Wild: This one's a bit more general, but you still have to manage your needs and navigate the wilderness.

Worth a shot?

  • Itch.io: I know you're looking for web-based games, and Itch.io's got a ton of 'em! You can search for survival and rogutype games with Arctic themes.
  • Kongregate: Same deal as Itch.io - tons of web-based games, including survival and roguelikes. Give it a shot!

Hope one of these is the game you've been thinking of!

Been using this one for over a decade. Works with Firefox's bookmark keywords feature.

Make a new bookmark, set the link as follows:

https://lemmy.world/c/%S (or your own Lemmy instance)

And in the "Keyword" field, use "c" or "lemmy" or whatever.

Now, when you want to visit a specific Lemmy community on your home instance, you can simply type:

"c community_name" in the address bar, or "lemmy community_name" in Firefox and it will open the community.
