So, in gaming terms, we're upgrading our gear to kill stronger bosses?

For what it's worth, I am a frequent lurker of hexbear and their users' newspaper archive is wonderful - every politician is full of it and they know it full well.

Tried it, my device crashes every 2 minutes in. Not worth the effort for now.

Has anyone ever tried to carry out a stochastic analysis of the data? I'd never thought about it, but the webpage's way of representing the data makes it seem like we're watching the stock market.

If they have root access to my PC, webcam access is arguably not my biggest concern

To the people who insist on me adding a sticky note to my webcam, I can only say

sudo modprobe -r uvcvideo

In my case, I'm just addicted to social media like Lemmy. That's what causes it. I can't quit it.

Without missing a heartbeat. Cars made in China tend to have extremely cool gadgets you never see in European cars. Be it front, back, lateral facing cameras or any other type of sensors. They've got so many cool stuff we're just missing out on, man.

Nah, that's not it - Warframe did it right

Then what good is a state for? Let's get down to anarchism once and for all!

Hi everyone,

I've been checking this forum but I have not managed to find duplicates (I'm using Summit for Lemmy). If that's the case I'll remove this post.

I'm about to start a PhD. I've been told I will be required to partake in publications and other shenanigans. I am not against it, but I'm very concerned about having my full name flying around the internet, as I've always been hesitant of sharing any of that information (real name, pictures, etc).

Ultimately, I only care for potential employers to know that it's actually me the one who has written this or that, which I would happily disclose in private.

What's the usual stance in this situation?
