So I actually took this advice and did exactly that. Booted up VirtualBox and ran an Ubuntu client and made my Reddit account and it got banned within 5 hours. Now every other account I make on any other virtual machine, regardless of operating system gets banned within an hour

A couple months ago my account was permabanned (was not provided a reason) from the site and I have since been trying to make a new one. The problem is though that every single time I make a new account, it is either instantly suspended or suspended a couple hours later. So far I have tried: -Unplugging my router for a few minutes to change my IP -Clearing all of my cookies -Making the account on a very old device (which has never logged into Reddit before) -Using a brand new email -Making the account on Duckduckgo which has encrypted connections

Mind you, I did all of these together, at the same time, and Reddit still was able to instantly link my account to it. Is there a single thing I can possibly do to avoid this ban and make a new account? It seems like Reddit has like CIA-level technology that is somehow able to track me regardless of how many ludicrous holes I try to jump through.

Jesus that's insane that you even got one permaban overturned. That's stuff of legends right there

Yeah it really is an awful cycle. The issue is though that there really are no alternatives. I mean I made an account on here because it's the closest thing, but let's be real, it doesn't even come close.

Especially in the world of gaming and technical questions, literally no site can even remotely compete with Reddit, so I feel like I have zero other options, and instead need to spend hours upon hours making dozens of accounts and finding new ways to bypass their bans because obviously they have various methods in place to ensure that like entire devices, wifi networks, and IPs are banned

It's kinda bullshit though that I was banned out of nowhere, not given a reason whatsoever, and now they seriously just expect me to throw my hands up and never step foot on the platform again

Basically, a while back my Reddit account was banned out of the blue. Since then, every single new account I make gets banned instantly every single time I make a post. Not once, for the record, have they ever provided me an iota of a reason as to why I was banned in the first place. As far as I know, my account was just wiped off the face of the internet because someone felt like it. Since then, I’ve used VPNs, different computers, changed my IP to my internet, but every single time, the moment I post or comment the same exact thing happens. All of a sudden, my profile in the top right disappears and when I go to check in an incognito tab, it says that it’s been suspended.

Then, a few hours later, it will become permabanned. Then I’ll submit an appeal, and every single time they get back to me, they deny it, and the only reason they give is because “I broke the rules”. How on fucking earth am I ever supposed to use this platform again?
