My boss recently specifically requested I create a chart using AI, it took me approximately 10 times as long as it would have in excel, in no small part because I couldn't convince it it hadn't added the range values to the y-axis.

Does it now have screws or sewing equipment in it?

Obligatory, my plumbing is older than your country.

I'm genuinely curious, I've never really used any launcher other than steam (it's not blind loyalty, my steam lib is just bigger than I'm ever likely to play already and my gaming heyday came before launchers).

Steam on the surface of it doesn't seem like an inordinately complex piece of software compared to say, a game or package manager etc. What is it that makes other launchers so shit?

A Dutch guy mentioned it to me a few years back how far the brand has fallen, reminds me a bit of GE in the US. It's kinda sad. The really crazy thing is a few of the investments they made and dumped have gone on to be key players in tech, like ASML.

Haven't Philips enshittified almost entirely outside of healthcare products? Everything else is licensing the brand.

Honestly, I don't find it a ton of fun. I use mine so occasionally, you kind of forget how little post processing you do on an FDM print for the most part. Though I definitely see the advantage for minis especially if you're going to paint it afterwards.

I'm not seeing relevance to the article about the hypocrisy of Russia saying US should leave Greenland alone as it's currently invading Ukraine. Why would they bring up Northern Ireland, I've not seen any news reports of the British army shelling Dublin recently?

The population of Northern Ireland predominantly wanted to remain part of the UK at the time of partition, surely 500+ years in a region gives the people some right to determine their fate? As they do now, a border poll has been an option for nearly 30 years at this point.

Oh look, you just bought your way into a 3D printing hobby

What about Northern Ireland?

I'm beginning to wonder if AI is actually going to set us back technologically. Certainly it seems to be creating or widening a technology divide.
