I like playing an aurabot in PoE because all I need to do is stay close to teammates. I effectively play the game by looking at the mini map and lining up our dots

Well there's the general world in fire and being trans in the US that's ever present. For personal stuff I'm currently working toward moving to a new country and going back to college. Hoping that all pans out otherwise you know, being trans in the US...

Also to add I'm currently going through a divorce. Hoping that all pans out before no fault divorce goes under attack. But also I'm trans married so maybe they'll just invalidate it anyway??

We needed an entryway stuff shelf and this was the least bad location for one (lemmy.ml)
 

This is the first shelf I've ever built! I've made a couple workbenches before but never a shelf. Hopefully the first of many we've got a few places around the house that need better storage

Large power outage, transformer blew (lemmy.ml)
 

I was right near where what I assume was a transformer just blew up, in the yesler terrace area. The explosion sound was wild and the apartment smells like ozone now. I'm seeing people talk about it all the way in the id and beacon hill, anyone here getting hit by it?

How to delete image from server, accidentally added one during creation of a post (lemmy.ml)
 

I was trying to copy/paste some things into the body section while making a post. I accidentally pasted a screenshot and it seems to have loaded it onto the server, made a link and everything. I don't want to add to server overload by having a dead, unused image on here. Is there a way to find that image from my profile or something and remove it? It isn't even part of my actual post and honestly seems like a great way to quickly mess up server storage if someone had malicious intent.

[Resource] Obsidian and Obsidian HTML are my go-to tools for writing and sharing setting notes (lemmy.ml)
 

Like the title says, great tools for hosting world notes (or really any kind of notes) in knowledge graph style.

I have all of my world notes set up in a private repo for safe keeping. Whenever I update them I run Obsidian HTML locally and move the new files over to my server. Next step will be to make a Jenkins build job to automatically build/host the latest notes when I push to the repo.

Obsidian is great for my style of note taking where I end up being all over the place and want to set up 'figure this out later' pages. It is also very easy to change the names of things on the fly and update across all my notes.
