That’s because it’s AI. There’s 3 chopsticks instead of 2, the cut limes are weirdly misshapen, and the whole bowl is oval instead of circular.

So no, that’s also not how that works. The Supreme Leader directly appoints and can dismiss at will 6 of the 12 members of the Council of Guardians that decides who can and cannot run for elected office. The Chief Justice appoints the other 6 but he is also directly appointed and can be dismissed by the Supreme Leader. Opposition candidate are routinely prevented from running. The Assembly of Experts selects and can dismiss the Supreme Leader but those members also have to be approved by the Council of Guardians so they’re all loyalists. The supreme leader is legally considered "inviolable", with Iranians being routinely punished for questioning or insulting him. Oh, he’s also the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian armed forces too. He is not just a pope-like figure, he is the highest authority in the country with effective control over every government position and policy. Effectively, a dictator.

The 5th Director of the FBI, Louis Freeh, who was director at the time of the complaint, was literally appointed by Bill Clinton. Furthermore, the 3rd director, William Webster, was appointed by Jimmy Carter, and the 7th director, James Comey, was appointed by Barack Obama.

Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning is quite good. It explores Reserve Police Battalion 101, composed of “ordinary men” who become ruthless killers conducting the early stages of the holocaust. It’s a heavy subject so I’d advise you ensure you’re in a good headspace before reading. But the lessons it teaches in how a regime radicalizes its citizens to commit heinous crimes against innocent people are, unfortunately, quite relevant today.

Well yeah, shooting someone at all is “intent to kill” regardless of what part of the body is shot.

I disagree, you should absolutely feel confident that you are handling a gun safely and unease should never be a part of the equation. A magazine disconnect complicates safe gun handling by adding an unnecessary extra step.

In general I feel less safe handling the guns I own with a magazine disconnect than the ones without. Having to put a magazine into the gun to drop the hammer puts me on edge every time.

It’s a loose lens frame used to check someone for a glasses prescription.
