At 13 I could tell right from wrong. 13 is young, but old enough to know better than this. And expelling someone for sexual harassment/abuse and giving them mandatory counseling isn't draconian. What's draconian is that girls and women have to deal with this type of abuse and have people like you wave it off like it's not a big deal, because boys will be boys.

My company doesn't even let the Linux software devs use Linux workstations because they don't integrate well with Windows AD/DC. I live in a relatively small city where everyone still depends on Windows and all the other big player companies (like vmware). My company has recently started pushing the few open source solutions that we do have out and replacing them with Microsoft garbage, even though it raises costs, gives us in the IT more headache and is ultimately more hostile to privacy. I'm deeply disappointed, especially because I've been trying to push for solutions that aren't MS trash. However, I have no power, so I have to do as I'm told.

I would have guessed ants, but I think they're just in the top 10? I wonder if humans are even in the top 1000, lol.

I'm guessing KDE Plasma on Manjaro? Because on my Fedora I haven't experienced any random crashes. This might be more a specific distro bug than a DE one.

Most of us still have to work on Windows in business environment. This is not going to change, even if I'd like it to. Troubleshooting M$ products is probably at least 30% of my job at this point...

That depends entirely on your DE (you didn't mention yours). I can easily do this through GUI on KDE and XFCE.

I'm from Europe, too. Kids are expelled from school for less than this. He absolutely should be expelled and have to have mandatory counseling. A slap on the wrist will just show other kids they can get away with sexual harassment and abuse, and make it even worse for the victims.

It's a stereotype for a reason, though. I've had many cats, and at one point we had a mom with three of her children. Mom and one of the children were "affectionate" only when they wanted to eat, otherwise, they'd go hide somewhere to be left alone. They did like to sleep in the same bed as us for warmth, but that's about it. Only one of the 4 liked (likes) to cuddle and be pet and spend time with us. So out of these 4 cats from the same family, 2 didn't want much to do with us, one was okay and spent time around us, and one was/is very affectionate. We didn't treat them any differently, it was just their temperaments 🤷

That's nice. Corporate told us we'd need to do overtime every week to justify them employing another person. Our department leader told us to please do it. I just continue to do my contract hours and silently judge them for working too much, knowing their family isn't happy about it. Instead of unionising and pushing for raises and shorter work hours, they're letting the company treat them like slaves. I guess they all enjoy wasting their single life kissing the boot?

Years ago I would download mods for The Sims 2 from modthesims site. Then I found out about all the other blogs with high quality content. I ended up so obsessed that I stopped playing the game and was just adding more and more mods. That's why I played Stardew on the Switch instead of the PC. I would just obsess about mods and neglect actually playing the game 😅

If only I didn't get distracted and completely forget to set the timer... or remember where I placed my phone.
