I'm excited about this and hope he can meet his own expectations.
The real question is, would he yield if instructed and a race win was in sight. We've seen some spicy team order drama with Yuki before, has he matured beyond that?
I hope we find out very soon. (but for P3 because Lando and Oscar need that 1-2 ๐)
His spicyness was one of the key factors for choosing Lawson instead. He has been working on it.
He was spicy when pressured to perform for the RBR seat, and while competing against decent drivers. But once in the main team and stacked against Max I doubt there's going to be a fight for #1 driver.
They are just setting this man up for failure. And at his home race as well. Terrible.
