Yeah, I really liked the writing style. It was as slick as Mann's first movie. Grab it and give it a read, you probably won't be disappointed.

I thought Heat was an original concept. It's based on a book?
I just looked it up - Heat was completely original but then Mann collaborated with another writer on a novel called Heat 2
its got 4.6 stars on 5700 reviews on amazon.
