I had a pm suggesting that 2010s Music,

"would do better if it actually had the word "music" in the /c name, i.e. !2010smusic"

https://kbin.earth/m/2010s

Is there a possibility to change it or do I have to delete and create a new magazine? TIA

Sorry, but you'll have to create a new magazine for that. The fediverse protocol relies heavily on the names of actors (like usernames or magazine names) and you can't just simply change the name. I could manually edit the name in the database, but it would still appear as a new magazine to all the non-kbin.earth servers and I'm not really sure what other side effects it could cause.

Once you do get your new magazine set up and have a few posts going, you could also try posting in [email protected] to try and attract some attention.

So I did delete the magazine and created one on the correct url. Nice thing is the magazine did not loose subscribers, just a few posts.
