National Geographic is usually very up front about who took the photo that they are using either on social media or on their website. Care to post the name of the photographer? I don’t have Facebook so I can’t check.

found the source of the image, it's from r/photoshopbattles back in 2018. reddit link the source or sources of the images they used came from a Finnish Wildlife photographer. who can be found here. soosseli away from the Meta algorithm.

Yes, his name is Ossi Saarinen. I was wrong about it being from Nat Geo, I have too many animal pics saved and I forget where they come from.
