They also will happily assume my gender, one of their trolls just did while harassing me. Shows that they really don't care about LGBTQ rights or acceptance.
Was there anything in particular that was the last straw?
Nothing in particular, I just started finding it weird that a lot of their communities seemed to have one-sided views on subjects like russia and china and when I looked into it I found out why.
They used to be slightly passive about it, but now they push it like they're having a contest.
Was the having to type parts of a communist manifesto on signup a new feature?
Holy shit. I never tried to sign up there so I didn't even know that's a thing. Jesus christ...
New to me (left during exodus). Wouldn't have signed up to begin with had that been the case ~4y ago.
Of course, they were still insufferable tankies back then, but it was basically them, worse tankies, germans, .nl, or midwest.social, and sign up wasn't so clearly indicative of the "culture."
