A nice end to the season, though I think they basically ignored the dungeon in the other world to get here.

Wridra's determination to get into a hot spring is unstoppable. Luckily the receptionist was a cat-lover.

Thanks sakura spirit!

Aomori is known for being a production area for apples, I guess they can afford a few to put in a bath.

We get confirmation that Grandfather knew about the dream world and was not surprised by elves. Nice to see he got along so well with Marie, even to Kazuhiro's confusion.

Overall a very lovely story and anime season. I would like to see more of them in both worlds, but I guess it depends on how much more source material there is (which I don't know) whether we get another season.

This was a great ending to a great show. I have read the manga past this point, and I believe they changed the sequence of things a bit to end things in a satisfying way. If I remember correctly, there is quite a bit of exploration of the dungeon that happens (it's kind of a long arc if memory serves) and I don't remember this kiss in the park at all (though it's been a while since I last read the series). So, I suspect they brought that moment forward in the sequence quite a bit to provide a nice conclusion to things.

Frankly, I think its the right move. I don't expect this to get a season 2 and ending the show with the beginning of a long dungeon crawling arc would be immensely unsatisfying.
